My personal favourite is Sketchbook Pro, it's great being able to sketch out a few ideas while sitting in front of the tv, and much less cumbersome than trying to balance a laptop and graphics tablet on your lap.

Very intuitive with great results, definitely recommended.

To organize your art, you might want to take a look at Artwork Tracker - a submission tracking tool for artists and collectors. It landed on the App Store in mid-December, and works on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. There's also a free Lite version available. I'm interested in hearing what people think of it (I'm the developer).

For kids I highly recommend Drawing Pad. Apps like Sketchbook Pro are a tad too complicated for younger kids. Personally I'm working on an app for artists, which should hopefully be out later this year. This one will definitely be out of my son's league ;)
