Art News, Controversial ArtBeach Impeach 4
The fourth execution of San Francisco’s “Beach Impeach” rally is set to happen on Oct. 7th at 11 A.M. at the Berkley Marina. Approximately 1500 people in support of impeaching George Bush and Dick Cheney will be spelling out ‘IMPEACH!’ in 120-foot lettering. The photographers for the rally will be positioned in the helicopters enabling them to line up the message — “IMPEACH!” — in the foreground, with the San Francisco skyline and bridges in the background. At past events, organizers have “morphed” message into another, plans to do this at this event are still undecided. Nonetheless, it should be an interesting event, and a great example of how art is used to send a message.

It’s funny that the people who want to impeach Bush for receiving false information and voting to go to war (which the majority of the U.N. ALSO voted for) are the same people who had no problem with Bill Clinton lying under oath in a court.
Morons.
